The fickleness of family aside the weather has also turned on us. Freezing nights into cloud breathed mornings in the blink of an eye. I'm already thinking flannel sheets, fires and soups. Today I realised it's getting darker again and my mind slid to cosy lights and throws and starting to rebuild my nest for the coming winter. Hibernation mode has set in and I need to reap the harvest and start my preparations. Despite how far removed we are from our survival instincts it seems like everyone is rushing about, cosying and gathering to ensure a safe, warm haven for winter. I love this time of year as I really feel like cleaning and sprucing my home in preparation for the long days of winter and the holidays to come.
If you're in a similar state of mind and want some cosy for your home come and see me at Gallimaufry and see if we can add some spice candle, cosy rugs or sturdy furniture to your nest.
